Minimum order quantities are not a sales tactic. They are arithmetic — and once you see the math, negotiating becomes much easier.
Every style carries fixed setup costs: pattern preparation, cutting dies, hardware ordering minimums, line changeover. Spread across 100 units, those costs are punishing; across 500, they are reasonable. MOQ is simply the point where both sides can make the numbers work.
Start from an existing frame and change color or hardware instead of building new — tooling drops dramatically. Consolidate colorways into one production window. Choose stock hardware finishes. And order honestly: a run you can sell through beats a bigger run that sits.
Tell us your launch budget and we will reverse-engineer a first production run from it — frame, colors and quantities included.
Those are the same numbers we publish in our FAQ, because a minimum that only appears after you ask is not a minimum — it is bait.
Start from an existing frame and change colour or hardware. Consolidate colorways into one production window. And order honestly: a run you can sell through beats a bigger run that sits. When a first order works, the second one grows on its own.
Send product images, your own design or a reference bag, together with the target material and quantity. We review the make, materials and hardware and come back with a costed quote — usually within 2–3 working days.
Why do manufacturers set minimum orders? Every style carries fixed setup costs — pattern preparation, cutting dies, hardware order minimums and line changeover. Spread across 100 units those costs are punishing; across 500 they are reasonable. MOQ is simply the point where the arithmetic works for both sides.
What is your minimum order? 50 pieces for stock orders in the colours we hold, and 200 pieces per colour for anything custom — your logo, a new colour, or a new OEM development.
Why is the minimum per colour? Because each colour carries its own setup: custom-dyed material, hardware batches and colour matching are ordered per colour, not per style.
How can a small brand make a first order work? Start from an existing frame and change colour or hardware, consolidate colourways into one production window, choose stock hardware finishes, and order a quantity you can actually sell through.
What are the payment terms? Samples are 100% upfront; bulk orders run 70% deposit and 30% balance before shipment.
How fast do I get a quote? A costed quote usually comes back within 2 to 3 working days of sending product images, the target material and the quantity.
Send us the category, a reference photo or a sketch — we come back with materials, a costed quote and a sampling plan, usually within 24 hours.
