Short straps, curved profiles, sits snug under the arm — the silhouette buyers keep asking for. We develop underarm and armpit bags from your reference images or a physical sample, in suede, calfskin and quilted leather — from a single sample run to full production.
The underarm bag is carried on a short, fixed strap so the body rides high and tight against the arm. Buyers know the same silhouette by several names — underarm bag, armpit bag and, in its elongated and structured form, baguette bag — and all three describe the shape we build here. It is one of the few styles that moved from late-nineties runway reference into almost every contemporary line-up, and it remains one of the most requested shapes in our sample room.
Because the body is compact, the design has to be carried by its details. Gusset depth, strap drop, edge finishing, stitch density and hardware weight are what separate a sample that sells from one that sits on the shelf. Tell us which direction your brand is taking and we will match the make.
Current production runs heavy on texture, because a compact body shows material and finishing more than it hides them. Quilted suede and smooth calfskin are the two most requested — suede for the soft matte look that suits relaxed profiles, calf and full-grain cowhide for a cleaner, more structured line. Vintage-buckle hardware, half-moon and croissant profiles, and baguette proportions on a curved gusset are all in current production, with PU and vegan options available for lower price points.
Branding can be hot-pressed, foil-stamped, embossed, or applied as a woven, metal or leather label, with custom hardware, lining, dust bags, hang tags and retail packaging to match.

They describe the same family. Underarm and armpit both refer to how the bag is carried — a short strap that tucks the body high against the arm. Baguette is the classic name for the elongated, structured version popularised in the late nineties. We build the shape to your proportions under any of the three names.
Suede and calfskin are the two most requested. Suede gives the soft matte texture that suits the relaxed profiles; calf and full-grain cowhide hold a cleaner, more structured line. PU and vegan options are available for lower price points, and we can send swatches before you decide.
