Small bags are the hardest to make well. Every seam is visible, the hardware is proportionally heavy, and the lining has to fold inside a shape with no room to spare.
Shrinking a bag does not shrink its problems. At mini scale the seam allowance is a visible proportion of the panel, a standard clasp looks oversized, and a lining that would disappear inside a tote can stop the bag closing cleanly. Hardware has to be chosen at the right weight, edge finishing has to be consistent on short curves, and the pattern has to allow for the thickness of the leather where several panels meet. We make minis in the same workshop, with the same QC, as our full-size pieces.
Minis are usually the piece that carries a brand look — the shape customers photograph. That makes proportion the whole job: body depth against height, strap width against panel size, hardware finish against leather grain. Bring us the look you want and we will build the pattern around it.
Minis sell as add-ons, gifts and as the piece in the window, so brands use them to extend a line without inventing a new pattern language, and distributors use them to lift average order value. Because the whole design is proportion and hardware, tell us what the bag has to hold and we will size the interior first.
Every style on this page is made to order in our own workshop in Guangzhou. Our in-house pattern room develops each design from your reference images, sketches or a physical sample — adjusting dimensions, materials and hardware until the prototype is right.
Materials cover full-grain cowhide, suede, calf leather, canvas and straw, with hot-pressed or foil-stamped logo branding, custom hardware and lining options. Stock styles dispatch in 5–7 days; custom samples normally take 10–15 days after material confirmation.
Quality control is in-house and runs to AQL 2.5, with an inspection before packing and export documentation on every shipment. Branding — logo embossing, foil stamping, printing and woven labels — along with retail-ready packing such as hang tags and dust bags, is handled in the same workshop.

A mini is a bag small enough to carry a phone, a card holder and keys, and to be worn across the body or held in the hand. It is defined by proportion rather than centimetres — we make everything from micro pouches to compact structured minis.
Stock styles start at 50 pcs. Custom development — your own shape, hardware or branding — starts at 200 pcs per colour. Because minis use less material, they are often the cheapest way to test a new line with a real production run.
It depends on the internal dimensions, which we set with you. Most smartphone sizes fit into a mini from roughly 11 cm wide upwards; if the bag must hold a specific phone or card holder, send us the dimensions and we will pattern to them.
Yes. A reference image, sketch or physical sample is enough. The pattern room engineers the shape and hardware placement and produces a pre-production sample for approval before production.
Full-grain cowhide and smooth calf hold a mini shape and finish cleanly on short edges; suede gives a softer, less structured look. Lining choice matters more at mini scale than on a large bag, because there is less interior volume to absorb a fold.
